How big are those babies?

Hey girls!! I haven't been on much at all and miss you all so much!! I was just wondering how big our babies are now and how old they are now. I was curious because since Jesse's surgery, he has not lost any weight, only gained, which is good, but the doc keeps telling me his weight is on the lower end compared to his height. I think he is fine, that is why I wanted to compare a bit. He can't absorb fats from my milk properly, so he is on MCT oil and drinks Pregestimil (by enfamil) 3x a day to help plump him up. He just turned 3 months and is 13 pounds and 23 inches long. Isn't that pretty normal? They are saying he should weigh more because of his height? I'm confused. At birth he was 7lbs 2oz and 17 3/4 in long. But then dropped to 6lbs 10oz for the longest time before gaining again. Then had major surgery and I feel like he is right on track. Anyway, hope those babies are well!! =)

Jesse sounds right on track to me. We just got back from our 4 month appt and Bella only weighs 11lbs. She's in the 10th percentile.

Trinity is 3months 2 days and on friday she weighd 14 lbs and is 24 inches long and dr said she is in the 96th percentile if im not mistaken. I thing the growth chart is different for boys, i have a book somewhere around here that has the weight and growth chart on it, the same one they use in dr office to keep record, i will look for it and post it 2mrw nite if you havent found the answer by then, or try googling growth charts and compare it from girls and boys.

Im glad Jesse is doing gr8, you guz are always in my prayers, Merry Xmas to you and your family

I'm no doctor, but Jesse sounds just right to me!  All babies are different so I'm not sure how they can tell you he's "skinny" at 13 lbs no matter his length.  Sam is almost 3 months and somewhere between 13 and 14 lbs.  He has tracked just below the 50th percentile since birth.  My friend's 7 month old is only 16 lbs--I really think thriving babies come in all sizes--as long as they are growing regularly.

Glad he's doing well, and can you believe we are at 3 months already!?
