My post just disapeared so if it shows up twice now, I'm sorry.
Since we've been working on remodeling the bathroom for the last few weeks and it almost done now, I'm going to do NOTHING this weekend. I'm excited that I had a friend volunteer to do my shower for me!! YAY! now I don't have to throw my own.  :)  So I guess on the weekends coming up, I'll be doing some registering... I just realized how much fun thats going to be.
Eli is doing good. He's been kicking harder and harder. Last night my husband finally felt a good strong kick. He got all teary eyed. It was such a sweet moment. I bet he'll cry like a baby when Eli's born. In some ways, I can't wait for that moment. But I also don't think I'm prepared for the labor yet...  :)

Well, after a tough day at work, I'm glad it's the weekend.  DH and I are meeting with friends for dinner tonight, and then hoping to move some more stuff out of the baby's room (currently our spare bedroom).  Alot of it is empty boxes to go into our attic, but we also have to move a small dresser and bed.  Hopefully, a couple of my DH's friends will come and help.  We are going to try to put a ceiling fan in there before we put any baby furniture in there, which we bought one piece this week during a sale at Babies r us.  Other than that, just going to try to relax and rest this weekend.  Hopefully it will be nice and I can go out for a walk!

Latrice, I am so very sorry you are going through this. Just continue to pray and lean on God. He will see you through this...He has done so in the past! I will pray for you as well.

Wow Ari, your shower souns like it's going to be big like mine...My family and friends have been waiting so long for me to have a baby. I don't think Makayla will need anything until she is 6mths to a year!!

Amberlee, I wish we had a baby expo here. I am going to google and see if there will be one in our area! I went to a few wedding expos before my weddings and loved the freebies!!! The best part was the chocolate fountain at the end of the exhibit!! YUMMY!!! LOL

Hey girls, just a quick note from me,  I had the day off today but it's been non-stop errands all day and about to leave again to take my kids to the dentist.

I went for my ob appt today and my cervix was perfect at 5 (cm?)  Oh and it turns out they prefer the vaginal u/s for measuring a cervix, she said it's a little more accurate than abdominal u/s.

I had both done today.  The abdominal u/s was a quickie to confirm fetal heart tones and she tried to look again at the sex of the babies.  Twin B is a girl, but Twin A was being bashful and not showing her goods unfortunately.   But she said she was guessing girl, which is what the other u/s tech told me last time.

Whew.  I'm feeling more confident that they are correct this time!

I'll check back in later to catch up on everyone.   Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Hey ladies, well my last couple of days has being going crazy & bad, being i dont really have anyone to talk to, i will tell you guys(or should i say i dont really want to put my family in my buisness)  WELL, the engagement is OFF, DF will be moving out and once again i will be stuck to be a single parent.  I even asked him if we could sign an agreement for him to pay me some money for the time he has been here not paying rent so when i go on materinty leave i would have some money put to the side, since i wont get any PTO bcuz i just started one job and the other job i took a leave for 2months my second month of being preggo.  Its such a long story on how everything came to this and dont want to bore you guys or have you feeling TOO sorry for me.  I just ask that you guys pray for me and baby that some way some how we make it finacially when im off work, i m actually taking 3months for materinty leave then 3 months medical leave so a totall of 6 months.  My parents are to old and have many health problems that they cant watch the baby, and if you guys have been watchn the news, all these van drivers have been leaving babies on the van and the babies are dieing.

On a somewhat brighter side, my registery is almost done, im still debating on what type of swing, hi chair and playpin i want.  I cant do Old Country Buffet bcuz they dont let you book the banquet room on weekends, so my best friend found me a place that caters and the price is right:), they decorate for you also, you just come, and they clean up:)  Im glad i called her, bucz my sister was suppose to be helping but her 30th b-day party is in june and she is running into complications with things so she had to put me on hold, im not mad bucz her event comes first and i want her party to be how she wants it. Oh yea, my shower will be July 25th i will be calling the place today or 2mrw to book it, yesterday they said all of july was open, for now lol.

Im with you airqueen, i have a 5 bedroom home with a living room, dinning room and sitting room.  I hate having guest over, well at least in large numbers.  when i had my house warming party it was 50 people and i swear only 10 had manners, never again.

Juana, have fun with the registry

Nicmom im still looking for a crib:( it is such a difficult task, i did find a bassinet for 44 dollas at walmart.com, i think it will come in handy for the downstairs since all the bedrooms are upstairs,

I pray i dont have a c-section, walking up and down those stairs would be a bummer and probably painful

I had my OB appt yesterday, im only 184.8 i only gained 2 lbs in a month, Dr said that was good and that the wt is going towards the pregnancy/baby and by me working its keeping the pounds off of me.  I guess lol.

Well im off to the mall, gota find my son a purple dress shirt, 2mrw is junior prom and i wont be able to see him off bucz i gota work 2nd shift, well my sister will take him an d his date and take pics. (i dont remember having a junior prom in 8th grade)  anything to get money these days

Well, I did my registry las week! I register at Target and Baby's R us. We found this really nice party room that holds up to 150 people for the shower. I've already blocked a set of rooms at a hotel near the party room for out of town guests.....I really don't feel like having people over my house. lol

I'm going to my step-son's soccer game tomorrow morning and then will be attending my nephew's b-day party. He is turning 4! We'll probably grill out on Sunday and enjoy the weather.

Nic, they have nice cribs at Target. I saw one there that I want to get. It's a 4-n-1...converts to a full size bed...

Oh don't get depressed about your birthday!! But still gobble down on that ice cream!! Do you have big plans for your birthday?

Juana- Have fun getting out of the house and being in the real world again!

We've been dealing with a landscape crew doing a renovation on our backyard and it's almost done so this weekend we want to go pick out all new patio furniture and a gazebo. Oh man that sounds so lame, lol. Other than that I'm lying low since next weekend is my birthday and mother's day. The birthday is making me a little depressed and I want to eat my feelings aka a pint of ice cream ;-)

Oh I picked out a crib last night at Target. The crib and matching changing table were under $300 and it's like a med color not cherry and not light oak.

Have a great weekend everyone!
