ok yesturday after hanging out the washing i was walking back inside ad felt a sheer stabbing pain in my lower tummy (very low)
i went inside sat on the toilet and the pain got so bad i passed out in a sweat! came to a moment later and the pain was unbareable! i made it to the bed with a bucket as it also felt like i was going to be sick!
for hours the pain was really bad i was waiting for my partner to get home so we could go to drs,
anyhow i went to drs at about 4pm  at his stage the pain was bad but not as intense not so sharp
dr said prob a UTI and did a wee sample and told to go to hospital for US
urine sample showed a bit of protien
got to hospital did loods etc but no ultrasound she said it wasnt nesesary (go figure!)
blood were all good no infection or anything
so at a loss as to what it is/ was im still not great today very dizzy and faint as i was yesturday, pain a little better like a dull ache now im taking antibiotics incase of the UTI
any ideas?

could all this be strtching as i havnt had a child for 5 yrs??????

I've had these types of pains if I over do it with things. Or stand up too quickly, I hope your feeling well soon! I hope everything is great with the baby; lots of prayers, keep us updated.

Did they try to listen to baby's heartbeat?  If not, I'd march right back into the dr. and explain that the hosp. didn't do an u/s and you'd like to at least have them doppler you for a heartbeat.

I'm praying for you and your little one!  If you didn't have bleeding, that's a very good sign!

Well, I think the doc should have done a u/s anyway.  That is just MO, but what could it hurt???  But if you like and trust your doctor, then I would try not to worry.  I'm sure everything is fine, but I would def take it easy.  I'm sorry that you went through that.  Pregnancy is so scary sometimes!!!

Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Maybe it's stretching. I had a uti and I had to go to the er because of the horrible sharp pain I started having, but it was obvious it was an infection once they did the tests.

Maybe you pulled something when you were hanging up your laundry? If the dr says it's not an infection then I'm guessing it had to be something stretching and pulling. I hope you feel better.
