Post Partum Problems

Did anyone have any post partum problems.  Being i got induced i was on fluids the whole time.  Now i have edema to my feet and lower legs, it almost seems as if my a ss has it to.  Im going to bathroom like every 15 min to pee.  Dr said the edema was normal.  I just feel like it isnt lol, i guess its hindering me more from doing the little things i should be able to do around the house.

I dislocated my tailbone! After a visit to the chiropractor it feels a little better but still hurts (7 weeks later!) when i sit too long.

Next time I'll pick up one of those postpartum belts. They help to support your back and suck in your tummy Bonus!

LoL I'm with NicMom, the back pain is terrible, but the ibuprofen seems to take the pain away from that!  One question though does it feel like your back is almost having spasums when it hurts?  Cus mine seems to do that... like the pain just spasums...

I was so swollen it was awful! I couldn't wear shoes for about a week an a half. Aside from that my only other problem was bad back pain and that also took around two weeks to subside.

Me too, you're not alone. It was the first time I had swelling like that it was horrid.

Latrice, my swelling went from my butt to my feet!! You couldn't tell where anything stopped or began!! I couldn't even bend my feet to walk...my knees either! Although the peeing was the pitts...it helps to alleviate the swelling...you should return to normal in a week or so...

BTW, I lov your Daughter's name! Trinity is also what Hoping42 is naming her daughter! Congrats again...she's a beauty!!

Wow I never knew you could get edema from being put on fluids and pitocin!!  But now that you mention it, I defintally think that I had more swelling in my legs once everything was all said and done, however, the peeing thing I defintally didn't have.  I gave birth to Owen at 216am (the cathiter was removed prior to that) and I didn't have to use the bathroom until sometime around 8am or so... and since then the peeing hasn't incressed and the swelling had decressed and I haven't noticed any problems getting around, besides I think I'm being more careful of my epsiotmy(sp) than I need to be, but still I'm almost back to my "old self," minus the head achs and back achs.  Thank god for pain pills!

I got pitocin at the end to speed things up and the swelling was HORRID!  I looked like a freak show and my hands and feet were very uncomfortable.  It lasted about 3-4 days.  Yours should go away soon!
