Postpartum visit... how long after giving birth???

How long after you gave birth are you scheduled for your postpartum visit? With my old doc (along the rest of the docs in my town), it's 4 weeks, but I have this new doc and she asked me to come in only 3 weeks after I gave birth... anyone else only have to wait 3 weeks? I am just a little concerned that I might not be completely healed...

With all of my kids it's been 6 weeks.  That's with several different doctors.

My midwife came to my house and saw me at 3 days after, and 1 week after, and now I'm going to go see at about 4.5 weeks after and that will be my last visit. Normally she would have requested a 3 week and a 6 week visit but she's 2 hours away so we're kinda doing it in the middle lol :P

My doctor is also 6 weeks, but since it was pre-set and I delivered early I'll actually be 7 weeks PP.

In Canada we are asked to come in for a 1 week (so exactly after a week after the birth, c section or not) then depending on how you doc feels your healing we could have to wait until 6 weeks to be seen again. With Soraya I was asked to come in for a 1 weeks, 2 week, and now next week I will go in for my 6 week.
Most doctors here will tell to come in early though if you have any questions or concerns.
