Second Trimester

So I have made it to the second trimester the so called "honeymoon stage". How far into the second trimester does it take to consider it the "Honeymoon" I am still running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. The neausae has actually gotten worse this last week. When I try to eat meat I want to puke. I'm on an antibiotic so that doesn't help with the neausea. My prenatals kill my stomach.  I am always eating! I can never seem to get full or when I do feel full it doesn't last long.

I now can hear the heartbeat with my doppler though. I had to break down and start wearing maternity pants. My shirts are starting to ride up and not stay down over my belly too.

My doc says that for many women the symptoms don't really start to ease up (especialyl the nausea) until around 16 weeks.

I hope that the above post is right for you! As for me, this pregnancy is a relief for me. My two boys wreaked havoc on me from the day I found out I was preggo to the day I gave birth. This pregnancy has been wonderful so far... nausea but no vomiting thank goodness!!!! I hope the trend continues and you can enjoy your honeymoon phase!

Hang in there - relief is coming.  Because of how the doctors start counting pregnancy from the date of our LMP, it is often not until week 13 or 14 that all of the nausea and ms go away - in fact my doctor said that it often gets a little worse before getting better.  You are so almost there!!!  I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and my nausea is definitely getting better each day.  Are you taking your prenatals at night?  That helps me. I now fit into only two pairs of work pants - so will be getting some maternity pants soon myself.

Congrats on getting to the 2nd trimester safely!!!
