She sometimes will sleep in it, but more often than not she sits there staring at things. Last night she went to bed at 4 am and slept kinda ok till 8. She sleeps better in her boppy more than anything, so we've been using that in an attempt to get her to nap. I really hope she does better soon, but I'm not really holding my breath. It's ok though. It will get better eventually, so I'm not really complaining.
I would imagine that her poor sleep last night was related to the vaccines (at least let's hope so). You must be exhausted. I hope she sleeps better tonight. Does wearing her in the Moby help get her to sleep? It helps Finn.
Finn is better today but still in a bit of a funk and not eating much (but this allowed me to pump a ton in prep for my return to work!)
I'm sorry you are having a tough time. I really thought Kaelynn was going to be fussy I lucked out and she just slept and had a low grade fever.
Hope Kylie feels better soon and you get some much needed rest.
Thank you. I hope Finn does well too. Kylie started to finally do a little better this morning. She's been really fussy the last few days and hasn't been sleeping well. I pray she does tonight. Last night she was up till 7am and I was ready to tear my hair out. Then she decided to wake up at 10am and has only slept for an hour the rest of the day.
Poor Kylie. I hope she is feeling better. Finn got his shots today. He is 14 lbs and 11oz!! (the 96th %ile for weight and 95th %ile for height - my big bruiser). He has had a low grade fever all day and does not feel well but he has not slept more and he is not fussy - he just wants to be held all day and I am more than happy to oblige. I hope he sleeps well tonight - my DH leaves on a business trip tomorrow and will be gone for 4 days - I need all the rest I can get tonight!
Kylie got 4 shots today and the oral. I have a feeling it's going to be a very long night. It's making her really sick and uncomfortable and she's inconsolable. I feel so bad for her.
She got 3 shots and the oral. I've been giving her Tylenol about every 6-8 hours. I'm sure her little legs are soar.
She slept a little bit more today than normal but not as much as yesterday.
im going by dr sears schedule so at 2 month lily will be getting the rotovirus and the dtap and then going back at 3 months for 2 more. i got the dtap in the hospital after i gave birth and my arm was sore for a few days so im sure the babies get uncomfortable too. i go with lily the 15th ill let you all know how it goes.
I have gotten my kids ALL the vaccines....I can say that my youngest boy had the rotovirus vaccine and still got it twice.
Lily won't have shots for a couple weeks, but with my other kids they had a tendency to get low fevers and sleep a lot more for a day or two after shots when they were really little.
Poor Kaelynn. I hope she is feeling better. I am dreading this and can imagine it broke your heart. Finn has his shots next week. His pediatrician told us to bring Tylenol to the appointment, so I plan on doing that. From what I know fever and sleeping a lot after shots is very typical. Did you get the hepatitis and roto virus vaccines. I am planning on getting all of them but am undecided about getting the hepatitis now and whether I will ever get the roto virus one (that is the oral one).
