i know emi isnt a sept baby but if you subtract the 8 weeks for her prematurity she would considered one
she is 12 weeks tomorrow and eating about 6 oz every feeding....she eats about every 5 hours...i noticed lately that she will eat 6 oz in the morning and then still be hungry so i try to hold off for 2 hours and then offer her another 4 oz...sometimes she eats it all and then wont eat again for 5-6 hours
she is being put to bed at 9pm and waking up about 3am for a feeding and then sleeping again until 8am...
she is completely formula fed now and is 12 lbs!!!!! you look at her and would never know she was born 8 weeks early
Kaelynn was 9lbs 12oz on Monday at her 8 week apt. Dr said she would have liked to see her at 10lbs by now. She's in the 20 percentile. However she is Asian so she is going to be smaller.
I'm fine with her being small as long as she is growing.
Finn will be 8 weeks on Friday. I have no idea how much he eats because I am only breastfeeding (if only he would take a bottle!!) but he eats every hour to 2 hours during the day but will occasionally go 3 hours if he is sleeping deeply. At night he pretty regularly sleeps for 4.5 hours then eats and sleeps 2 more hours. Once he slept 6 hours. He was 11pounds and 5 ounces at his one month checkup - so he is not petite. I can't believe some babies are already sleeping 8 hours - what a dream.
Really? Thats all your babies are getting? My Fynn is only 4 weeks and he can take upto 5 ounces at a sitting, anywhere from 3 to 50 ounces actually. At night he follows a 3 hour schedule but during the day he is all over the place, sometimes 3 hours sometimes two or even 1 depending. I really want him on a more timed schedule but i know he is to early for that.
Fynn had his 1 month appt today and he now weighs 10 pounds and is 23 inces long so he gained 2 lbs this month and grew 3 inches.
Kaelynn is 8 weeks now and still only eating 3-3.5 ounces every 2-3 hours during the day. At night she sleeps 8 hours eats and sleeps another 4 hours. I'm mostly breastfeeding maybe one bottle a couple times a week.
My lily does 3.5 ounces every 3 hours. Sometimes she'll go 4 hours if she's sleeping. She wakes up once at night and does 3.5 - 4 ounces. I've finally managed to eliminate formula so she is on strictly breastmilk at this point. And, of course, you know my Lily is only a day older than yours.
Kylie is 7 weeks and she eats no more than 3 ounces from a bottle, but she usually is breastfed so I dunno what she gets from that. She also eats around every 2 hours or so. Sometimes less since she's having a growth spurt and doesn't want to unlatch from me.
