If you want to breastfeed then you should absolutely be able to do it. When you are in the hospital, talk to a lactation consultant. They will be able to help you out a lot and give you tips. They are very helpful and don't be afraid to see one after. It can be tough at first but remember to be patient. Both you and the baby will be learning.

I was 16 when i had my first and breast fed for 4 months until i went back to school. It wasn't something i spoke about because, as i'm sure you know quite well, i didn't have anyone to talk to as my friends were not going through the same thing and adults just looked down on me. Fortunately for you there is the internet and Forums such as this that have plenty of support for young mothers. I'm 39 now, have 3 almost grown children and recently got re-married. My husband doesn't have any so we chose to try and are now currently 13 weeks.
The best advise i can give you is finish school, go to college and find a great support network. I know, easier said than done but fight for you and baby and things will turn out! Good luck!
