39 weeks n sick with a cold :s

So im 39 weeks tomorrow and getting induced on thursday and I have a terrible cold:( im a bit worried about laboring when I feel crappy...also will I be able to hold bub and stuff coz I dont want to get him sick :(

also regarding the whooping cough vaccine, if my husband gets it now, is it a live vaccine? Can he pass stuff onto baby?

Just keep drinking fluids, try lemon, ginger and cinnamon tea, with a dollop of honey, helps your throat and cough (f you have one), I've been drinking it as everyone has had a cold (fingers crossed, I have t had it yet, the only one left)

They recommend that you have the whooping cough vaccine about 3-4 weeks in advance as it takes a while to be effective.
You would surprised what your body can handle even if you arent feeling well yourself. If you are worried then try not to kiss bub on the lips. Hope you feel better by the time bub arrives
