Baby Name help
My fiance and I have been trying to discuss baby names. He's really only suggested that if it is a boy it has to keep the family name. My fiance shares the same first, middle, and last name as his dad and he wants our baby to do the same. I , however, am not happy with that idea. There really aren't any nicknames that go with his name and the very few that could go with it are being used by my fiance. Any suggestions on what I should do? I talked with him and told him my thoughts in the car the other day, but I dropped the conversation when we got home and haven't brought it up since.
My boyfriend and his father share complete names too. I wouldn't be okay with it either. This baby is yours too so you have a say in the matter!
Maybe suggest using the first name or middle name imstead of a jr. I told my husband if he wanted to name our son after him i was fine with it. ( even though i wouldnt pick,that name if it wasnt his). It may mean alot to him. Id further discuss it and lay all,options on the table.
