The worry of a mother....

Today I turn 35 but I'm not thinking of it as my birthday. At this point, I am thinking of my age and what it means for my pregnancy. The extra screenings, tests, ultrasounds, genetic counseling, etc. that I need to schedule.  There is always something that could fill a head with worry. There will be questions throughout, am I eating enough? is the baby growing on schedule? Is this pain normal? Will my baby have 10 toes? Add to the that the "high risk" just for being 35 and over. We are all mothers now and that means we will worry for the rest of our days.  Let's also take some time to CELEBRATE what it means to be pregnant. We are experiencing such an amazing miracle and our role is SO important. Stay positive and enjoy this journey that we are privileged to take.

I definitely hear you. I worry too and i feel like every week there's a new thing to worry about! Remember, our bodies know exactly what to do. We were born to do this.
