omg my Son obviously wears Blue and Boy clothes, and in public ppl say 'oh she's so cute' I'm like 'he' yes he has A Lot of hair but that don't mean he's a she!! he's freakin wearing BLUE ugh that irritates me lol
There are still people who say oh he's cute and I'm like yes SHE is. Even if you dress her in all pink it'll still happen trust me
Lol you sound just like me. My daughter's nursery theme was safari and i refused to play into the pink thing. The next theme will be the same in the nursery since it's gender neutral
We are having a forest friends nursery if we have a girl or boy. I'm from southern iowa. All of us girls grew up in the woods hunting and fishing. Plus the nursery is just so cute with baby deer and fox.
Im not into pink frilly things either. Dont know what I am having yet but I have noticed that most of the things I think are gender neutral, most people think boy. But im glad to see another mom that isnt going to push for pink and frilly. Very cool;)
So the pink/blue was made by Macy's I believe in the 1940s (I think around that time) to sell more clothes for boys and girls. I do not plan on finding out what I have. But I LOVE blue. We plan on painting the nursery a very light blue and doing a Noah's ark theme. It'll probably appear my "boy" themed, but whatever!
