So I am curious what "old wives tales" ended up being true for everyone? I'm having a girl and these were the ones that were correct:
Chinese gender calendar
Intelligender (pee on the stick)
Many online quizzes
Sweets and sugary cravings
Carrying wide (gaining weight other than just in the tummy)
More frequent acne breakouts
More emotional rather than moody

The ones that were wrong and said boy were:
Carrying low (I am very low)  
Fetal heart rate being under 140 (hers has consistently been 135)
Ring over the belly was a pendulum not a circle (supposed to mean boy)
Body temperature ran cold instead of hot
Leg hair grew much much quicker
Hardly any morning sickness
All of my dreams were of a boy

What about you guys? I was shocked to learn I was having a girl! I am happy as can be either way, but I guess my intuition wasn't exactly on point. Lol.

I'm also having a baby girl and the Chinese Calendar was right, the paperclip and string was also correct. I too am carrying lower and her heartbeat at 20 weeks was 141-145 a couple people were surprised to know I'm having a girl, where as I had a feeling the whole pregnancy it's a girl and can't wait to meet her in September!

All the ones i tried including chinese gender one were wrong except the carrying low lol everything said girl and its deff a boy lol

expecting a boy and everything pointed to a girl! had cravings for fruit and sweet stuff, foetal heart rate was 170 in scans, put on weight all around middle rather than just out front. am carrying v low though which apparently is consistent with a boy, not that I believe any of this anymore ha ha

I did the bicarb test. Fizzed straight away means boy and did the ring ovee belly boy. N yes its a boy

Every single one was wrong this time for me except the carrying low and out front. I carried my daughter and now my son the exact same way which is low and all out front.

Chinese calendar was right for a boy along with a few quizzes. I also food the wedding ring on s string over the belly and it was boy!
