38 weeks pregnant and no cervix checked yet?

38 week check up today! Do they check your cervix at all ? I haven't been checked , don't feel contractions either . But just curious if they will or not since im close to my due date

Im 39 weeks & 3 days now with my first & still no signs of labor

I went to 41+1 with my first. Mw aren't allowed to do internals until we hit 40 wks over here (ni) but Dr's can. There were no signs of labour for me either til I woke up and started having contractions.  I'm 38+2 with no 2. Praying I don't go as far this time I can. Barely cope as it is.

Yes it is my first . I asked my doctor and she said if I wanted to be check at my next appt they will do so . So If baby don't come before Thursday they will check . But im at 39 weeks starting tomorrow and no signs of labor you guys

I don't get checked. Don't really need to know.   If it's your first,  chances are you aren't dilated.

It just depends on your doctor. With my first pregnancy cervix was never checked. Going to a different provider, cervix was checked at 36 weeks and asked if want checked on. Appointments after.
