3 months pregnant/sex of baby

I am three months pregnant, and my husband and I are waiting anxiously to find out the sex of our baby. We have a five year old daughter, who is also anxiously awaiting to find out if she's getting a new brother or sister. I have read that some doctors can make a good educated guess at the baby's gender when you're three months. I was just wondering when most of you found out the sex of your baby, and has anyone had the gender told to them at three months?

Earlier than 20 weeks makes it just a guess on the sonographers part. They won't do the scan before 18 weeks in UK when checking measurements but also because if people want to know the gender then its just a guess before that. Ideally they want you to be 20 weeks so they can be confident when they tell you. The wait from the 12 week scan to the 20 week feels like forever!!!

Thank you! I also found out at 20 weeks with our daughter. I had never heard of finding out the sex at 3 months until I read an article about it the other day. I found it interesting, but didn't want to get my hopes up :)
