Is it safe?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant, is it safe to color your hair? Or put some high lights in it?

I colored my hair a little less than a month ago. My hair dresser, who had children, found no problem with it. I did a lot of research online prior and it just seems to be an old fear. I would say go to a reputable hair dresser instead of doing it at home though.

Wait until you're at least 13 weeks. They recommend not dying your hair until you are out of the first trimester. Make sure you use ammonia free dye (I think all dyes are ammonia free now) and make sure you are in a well ventilated area. Or go to a hairdresser and let them know you're pregnant
