Nothing has changed, still not dilated. Oh well. God will take it.

6:17 AM, she has turned it up to a 6. Contractions are definitely no bueno! Hooked up to heart monitor so movement is very little to none "/ trying to sleep but haven't had luck. Pretty sure my water is breaking. I went to sit up just slightly and felt a gush of liquid, had to call nurse in to check as I cannot see nor check myself, she looked and it was clear and has continued to leak and gushing at moments.

I am very uncomfortable between contractions and major back pain and little movement. Just trying to get through these little parts "/

Keep us updated mama! Hope all goes well with you and baby!just remember to breath deep and slow during your contraction. (Ive heard it helps) try singing or humming as well. Lol.

I'm only dilated 2cm. He just came in and broke my water completely and my contractions are fkn hell. I just can't imagine doing this without an epidural. Such a puss -_-

Hang in there! Once you get to 4cm you can get your epidural. Hopefully things start progressing faster now that your water is broken.

If you are that hungry they should feed you.  I pretty much forced them to get me something with my son because i started to get nauseous from being hungry.  They came back with a cup of jello, but even that helped a lot. And it was right before i started pushing.

As far as dilation goes nothing has changed. Contractions have become more frequent, every minute or less then that. As soon as you get over one and try to recover from the last one there is another one, so it feels like there isn't even any recovery from any of them. They're bad, and painful. I'm in a lot of pain with every contraction. I have decided to get the epidural and I am just waiting for the anesthesiologist to be free to get it.


I tried and I feel like a failure for giving in but I am doing it.

You're not a failure honey! Once you get that epidural you're gonna ask yourself why you didn't get it sooner. You are doing great! Also your body may be able to relax and dilate after you get it. My induction took 29 hours. Ask them for some broth or a popsicle to help the nausea.

Don't feel bad about the epidural...Thats what they are there for! The calmer you are and the more relaxed, the easier your labor will be! Hopefully you will start to dilate soon
