the show!

Alright ladies, if anyone follows my post, you'd see that I had my membrane sweep done today! :) since I got it done this afternoon, my cramping has been horrible! It's been about 5 hours since I got it done... I went to the Bathroom & when I wiped (sorry tmi) there was a bloody mucus (alot)... now I know they say there's a difference between bleeding/spotting from the strip vs the bloody mucus show.. it wasn't a 'dry' spotting.. it was def mixed with alot of mucus.. so with that being said, could my sweep possibly have worked & I could go into labor soon??

I had my membranes swiped at a 5 pm appointment and went into labor by 7pm. Had her before midnight.  She's 17 now. Hope all goes well with you.

You might go into labor soon. Just watch out for those crampings, if they come and go every few minutes it's mild labor contractions ;)

I had mine done the day before my due date, was cramping for hours and about 12 hours after getting it done I noticed a very noticeable decrease in movement with my baby but was still feeling him move just not nearly as much so I went to sleep woke up next morning & realized I wasn't feeling him move at all...went to L&D and turns out I was in labor! Doctor said a lot of times you'll notice a decrease in movement when labor isbeginning. SO if the decrease in movement was labor then it was about 12 hours after I got it done & 24 hours after I got it done was when I was in l&d and started having contractions. Best of luck!!
