Aerith Skye born 6 weeks early

So after several posts over the last 4 days of if I should go get checked or not with all the pain, I went in on Sunday morning (1/17) at 1am. When they checked me, they said I was in labor and was already 2cm dilated. The water bag was very tight and could break. They kept me for observation because my daughter is 6 weeks early. They slowed down labor and kept me hospitalized. Well things progressively got more painful and more uncomfortable. On May 20th at 4am upon checking me again, I was 6cm dilated and they decided to go ahead with the epidural since nothing else was working. At 9am, they checked me again, and this time I was 9cm dilated and they broke my water very easily.
It was time to start pushing; and it was painful. I was scared because she was so early, I was in pain from the burning of her crowning, then they just pulled her right out and it all faded. I only had to get 2 stitches and pushed for 15 minutes.

Aerith Skye was born May 20th 2015 at 9:22 am. She weighs 4 pounds 14 ounces and was 18 sad a quarter inches long. She came out crying and breathing on her own. She will be in NICU for 2 weeks; but she is already doing soooo well. Keeping a steady blood sugar level, body temp is staying up, and her first feeding she latched like a pro. She was worth the 4 days of labor, and the months of waiting her dad and I did. He is so very in love with her, and we cannot wait to bring her home.

Congrats! I delivered my twins last week at 36 weeks. Both came out breathing on their own and healthy. One is still in NICU because she has trouble eating but the NICU staff are great to her.
