Anyone feeling useless?

Came home after 8+ hours as a CNA. Husband called into work to do God knows what. I've been working since Monday don't get a day off til tuesday. But I didn't do anything but relax til 6pm and he gets pissed and yelled at me for not going to the store. Then stormed out to go. Granted he cleaned about a 12×12 area in the living room in an 8 hot period. I cleaned the living room kitchen and bathroom in 20 minutes and did almost all the dishes. But I still feel useless now.

If he asks you what you did today,  say "I grew a spleen.  What did you do?"

1st I'm sorry  you are going through this and being made to feel this way. You are not useless this baby is taking a lot more energy. I'm 10 weeks and have been pulled off work for severe vomiting and nausea. I can't do anything most days. It just takes all my effort to go to the bathroom. Sometimes I can't even bath myself I'm so weak. What you're doing is amazing pregnant working and still taking on the household chores. You're amazing.

He was better after the whole ordeal. It just sticks with me. We have been together 14 years and it hasn't been a walk in the park by any means. But I guess if it's what's best then I'll stick to it. Made it this far.

Is this hus first pregnancy experience? I got really sick with my 2nd child which I had with my husband (his first). Im a dog groomer and I was lucky enough to have an employer who worked with me on scheduling and assisting when necessary. My husband, made me feel like I was being over dramatic. Like me being so sick and working a little less at times was me milking it. A few years later her brought up me barely working and how he had to carry the weight of the finances, which previously we both managed 50/50. This time around he is much more understanding. He has seen me drop weight like crazy, vomiting all day, get IV fluids, take several different meds a day just to survive and I have barely lifted a finger to do anything. I know he is getting a little impatient and wanting me to help out more but when I come home from a 10hr shift he will have dinner together and the kids situated and he has been so amazing. The rough side of pregnancy, the sickness, weakness, utter exhaustion, isnt something most people imagine with pregnancy so I think when we are "useless" it's perceived as lazy instead of "exhausted".

Hi! I will be 31 weeks Saturday. I've been on the progesterone shot (100 mg 1x weekly) since I was 16 weeks & will continue until week 36. My husband gives mine to me. I can't completely answer your question, but I will say it has worked for me so far. We had our son in 2011 preterm. He was around 35 weeks, 9 days in the NICU. I was on several different medications from about 12 weeks contracting all the time. In & out of the hospital constantly! Then in October 2015 we misscarried so when I became pregnant again I was immediately told I needed the progesterone shot. I have had no problems with this pregnancy at all. Very relieved! We are having another boy.. He is healthy as can be, and they expect me to be able to go full term or very close.I have had a few braxton hicks but drinking loads of water is all that I've needed to stop them. I highly recommend progesterone. My last visit I am also at 2cm but they said mine was from having prior children. Good luck with everything, and ill be watching this post to see if other moms have experienced this same issue. Hope this helps some.
