Anyone with a 1year old toddler and pregnant again with baby #2

I just wanted to know how many of us here have a 1 year old toddler and expecting their 2nd child?

I have a 13 month old daughter, and expecting my 2nd child, 1 Day shy of 8 weeks.

My son is 12 and a half months and I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have a question for everyone in the same situation is there child starting to act up? Literally the day we found out that we were expecting he became mr. Terrible twos and is also refusing to eat it's the craziest thing

I thought I was thinking this in my head, but my daughter has started acting very much clingy to me ever since I found out I am pregnant. She literally doesn't let me do anything, I constantly have to be with her 24/7. Like, she won't even stay with her father when she sees me!!

Is exactly what I am experiencing! He has to be next to me all day everyday when his father comes home he could care less. and if you do something that upsets him like take something away from him or tell him he can't have something it's like an all-out throw himself on the ground screaming his head off type of fit. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one because I was starting to think I was crazy thinking it was because I was pregnant since I'm only like 6 weeks along

I have a 6 year old, a 3 year old and a 2 year old all boys and I am 10 weeks pregnant.  With each pregnancy after my first son I experienced the same thing they say kids know you are pregnant before you do. My 6 year old was only 2 when I got pregnant with my middle son and he just wanted to help with everything however my middle son want as more distant he didn't want anything to do with me and my youngest son who is 2 now sometimes he has to be right by me and others he wants nothing to do with me it is all normal

My daughter will be a year and a half when my son is born. I love the idea of having kids close in age!

I am happy to hear that your excited to have kids so close. I been hearing negative comments about kids being raised so close. My daughter will be 20 months old, by the time I give birth. I am actually really nervous about raising them together, since I have little to no help.

My daughter will be two this year n am pregnant with my second 5wk 3days it's not easy but things will work out just fine.

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have a 20 month old daughter, everyone keeps saying am I wise having them close together and how I'm in for a world of trouble when no.2 arrives but I just say we choose to do this and we will be fine once we get a routine in place, don't worry what others think there are always gonna be negative nellys about, just enjoy every minute and just think how close ur kids will be when they get past the argumentative stage lol

Yes :) im 30w3days with a 15 month old expecting my second daughter March 28th. I think its great that they are going to be close in age. They'll grow up together and i love that. However i don't doubt that im going to have a tough time coping with a newborn and a toddler who needs repeating and explaning with constant attention. But all good things don't come easy right? :) Im doing as much as i can to prep for my 1st months with this baby.. Like leaving precooked meals for the family.. Deep cleaning the home and giving lots of love to my lil one so she can cope well with her sisters arrival. Anywho congrats on ur pregnancy. :) and get as much rest that you can:)

I'm 34+5wks with baby #5. I have 18 month old twins, 9yr old and an 11yr old (all 5 are boys). My older 2 are 27 months apart and I got a lot of negative comments about having them as close as we did-especially from my family?! Honestly, I wouldn't have changed a thing! They grew up together, are still super close, my oldest was able to help with easy little things (getting the diapers or blankets) which made him feel like a big boy and it was great! Potty training was even easier with my 2nd because my 1st was able to help show him how to do it. LOL (fruit loops helped a great deal too...between learning colors, counting and aiming)

Don't let what other people say or think get to you. They're not in your shoes, and all situations are different from one person to the next. Be happy, enjoy your pregnancy and as much one in one time with you little one now before the baby comes to strengthen your bond. You can do this and I'm sure are an amazing mommy already!
