baby shower overload

HELLO EVERYONE I'm 30weeks pregnant and expecting my first baby... Its a girl. Yay.. Well I have an issue with my shower. Its seem as none my friends wanted to throw me one so I started to plan my own with my boyfriend.. Who bless his heart is more involved than I would like. We are plan to have to shower at is parent house due to funds. They recently moved and still are unpacking but doesn't look like this new house will have space to hold the shower nor is it convenient for my guest Meanwhile one of the lady's at my church felt lead to ask if she could take over and throw it for me at her big house which is convenient for both our guest. I told my boyfriend who expected a job opportunity for a month that allows him more money but will miss the shower and possibly miss the birth of our daughter.. and he politely decline the offer. The date is arriving and I fear I will have no guest at a cramped shower or a family feud if I change the venue

Ultimately this is about you having as many guest as possible so that you can get as many baby items as you can so you guys can save some money so what ever location allows that I say go with that. May be explaining it to your boyfriend from a financial stand point will change his mind. Good luck.

I would have to go with the more comfortable location.... and try to get him to work with me.

I've tried and he is not budging. His mom is looking forward to it being at her house. My mom feeling was crushed she not even involved..and I'm getting over whelmed cause I don't want to hurt any ones feeling.. But I don't what to be at party where I know no one..and my bf won't even be there for.

I think you should try and tall to your bf again about letting the other women throw it for you.
