Never did i say i was naming my son after a murder and in the other comment i wrote, i did say that I'm not looking for any names from the bible my bf just happened to fall in love with the name PERIOD! I just wanted to share where that name came from lol me and my boyfriend couldn't stop laughing at some of the comments. Like the day people start to become scared of a kid because of his name will be the day LMAO! And im sure some of you didn't even know the history of the name cain til now :)
My friends sin is Cain. He is a wonderful little boy so when I hear that name that's who I think of.
If we have a boy it will be Jamie Ross. Jamie is from my favorite book series and Ross is my husband's name.
For me being a Christian for what I've been taught is don't not judge for u will be judged for me I live by that for u name in ur bb Cain doesn't mean he's gunna turn out to be like Cain in the bible n for the ppl saying that to her isn't right she comes on here for support not to be isn't a mind state where she feels like she's done wrong she can name her bb what she wants don't judge her by a bb name how would u feel if someone said it to u think before u speak
If me n my husband are having a boy his name will be Isaiah achelies "achelies" great warrior
If its a boy Canyon Ray. Ray is after daddy and grandpa.
I'm naming my son Elijah after my great uncle
I'm having twin boys, separate sacs and placentas so I don't think they will be identical.. My bf picked out biblical names also. Isicc n Issah...
But naming ur bb is such a blessing I wish u guys the best on ur little one there a blessing from God
If it's a boy Harley or DeSean a girl Alisha or Ocean
It shouldnt matter what other people think of your beautiful name for your beautiful baby boy... I have 3 friends named cain.. Nobody is afraid of them and it shouldnt matter anyways... Its your baby name him whatever makes you happy and if other ppl wanna judge oh well... Cain is a perfect name so go for it
I think Cain will be unique because most people would avoid using it. I am curious what your bf likes about Cain's story or if he just likes the name. I don't think people will be afraid of your son just because his name is Cain. At least, most people will not be. However, I do think people will wonder why you name him that. If you really like the fact that he's a murderer then that's reason for people to shy away, but if you like the name and the meaning of the story that's different. And you will probably run into people who say things or your child may get picked on for it, but many people might not even make the connection. Personally, I kind of like Cain for a name. I like it better than the name Abel. Basically, I think if you both like it then go for it. Our first boy is named Cole and this baby will be named Adam.
Before we found out we were having a girl we picked out 2 biblical names- Uriah and Noah
I agree ⬆️⬆️ yeah I wouldn't name my son Cain, after a murderer. I have 2 sons first is Jacob Elijah and second is Noah Ethan. If you want to use bible names there are so many other cute names.
Why would u want to name ur baby after a murderer? Of all the prophets Samuel Elijah Isaac David. Noah is unique i never met Noah but of all the people in the bible to name ur son after. U pick a murderer? Im sorry if its harsh but heres an opinion. People will be afraid of ur son. And names can mold thier life. What would u think if someone named thier son after Charles Manson. I apologies for my brutal honesty on that name. I dont like it.
My boyfriend and I are naming our little boy Persius Levi. I wanted a unique name since mine was unique. But my mom was joking around saying that since the first wreck I ever got into was while I was 18 weeks along in my new jeep wrangler that I should name him Wrangler Levi. Its kinda grown on me but I think my SO would have a cow if I tried naming him that. Haha
My bf middle name is Guadalupe is mother had the same thing in mind also :). And no I'm not looking for any unique name or any name from the bible but my boyfriend loved that name ever since i told him the story of cain from the bible way before i was pregnant. So far you guys have lovely names picked out :D
My husband and I named our first child Malcolm. If we have a boy again this time we will name him Simon, unless something really big changes our minds.
I'm naming my baby boy Ellis :) haven't yet decided on a middle name though.. Cain is a lovely name!
