Been awhile...
I haven't been on here in a while, but felt the need to share my happiness and excitement! As some of you may know at about 12 weeks into my pregnancy we had a scare with tay sachs and I was worried out of my mind.
We had our anatomy scan Monday afternoon and after about 45 minutes our stubborn, difficult, shy little baby let us get a peek at the goods! We're having a boy! But the best part of all the doctor came in and told us he is 100% absolutely PERFECT! She said his structure is perfect, his organs are perfect, and his heart rate is perfect. I am over the moon and we are so ecstatic to have a healthy baby on the way.
Also he was moving around so much, such an active little boy that she pulled up the 3d scan (I think by mistake) and we got to see his little face for a minute and he is BEAUTIFUL! I still can not get over how amazing it was watching him move around and seeing his face (my only other ultrasound was at 8 weeks and he resembled a gummy bear more than a baby)
