Being replaced at work

So on my last appointment my doctor took me off work until the end of September (because of my sciatic nerve). Im due Dec 4th.I am a customer service manager, and today my boss calls me to tell me that they are going to open my position. He says they will give it back to me when I come back, but thinking about it just makes me nervous.

I'm due Dec 4th, but my leave of absence is over Sept 25. I don't mind going back and working til the baby comes, it just makes me nervous that they are filling my position meanwhile. I do quality for fmla, I've already sent them the paperwork they requested.

Also the requirements for fmla are like you have to work for a company of at least 50 employees and you have to have worked like up to 1200 hours in the last yr i think

According to fmla you should be able to leave for up to 12 weeks and your job and rate of pay will still be there when you get back.
I'm worried about the same thing- i am trying to get a general manager position and go on maternity leave december 1st probably. Due 12/10

But my job is protected under fmla.
I was put on bed rest last month but luckily they let me go back after a week.
