Blackman in America

I never lived life thinking about race or color, but it just hit me that I will be raising a black boy in America.  Its so sad with all the police killings of unarmed blackmen in America.  In fact it recently happened in my neighborhood.  To think that one day my son will be a blackman in America scares me.  Any other mothers having or have black children worry about this?

Honestly I feel like the world is just a crazy place! I've thought about that a lot. My son will be 12 in August & I try my best everyday as a mother to teach him about the wrongs and the rights! It's a scary thought but as long as we're doing what we have to & raising them to be responsible black intelligent men they'll get it!

I have started to think about that a lot an I'm worried  But it could also be the media creating hysteria is long as you're good parent I think we will be okay I was looking into things like private school things that will just help create good moral grounding I don't want my son to be just another n word
