Blood clot between placenta and uterus.

Hi all, I have a friend who is at the same gestation as me (9 weeks) she has been in and out of hospital with stomach pains, bleeding etc. She has an ultrasound and was told she has a blood clot between the placenta which is stuck to her uterus between them. She was told it could potentially just absorb back in to her uterus and be a normal pregnancy etc but was also told there may be a change it will grow bigger and tear the baby away from her uterus. Was just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge on this at all please.

I had bleeding/spotting b/w 5-7 weeks! My last bleed was at 7 weeks! At my 10 week ultrasound sound it was healing! At my 20 week ultrasound it was no where to be seen! I am now 25 weeks with a healthy baby boy!

I had a blot clot early in my pregnancy,  luckily with time it was absorbed.  Good luck, rest and keep the faith.

My friend had that.she had bleeding on and off thru the pregnancy til about 20 weeks. Docs told her that it dissolved by itself. But at 33 weeks she went into labor ( premature labor can happen if blood clot doest dissolves completely)

I had a blood clot but it wasn't near my placenta or baby at all and it was really small.  I didn't have any bleeding and it was gone the next ultrasound.  I heard they are very common.  Hope that hers goes away too.
