Carseat arrangement, two kids?

For those with two kids, how do you have your carseats arranged?  One in the middle, one on the end?  Or both on each ends?  I have a two year old, and due in dec.  Thanks!

Both by each door. Makes it easier for you to get them in + out & I always felt it was safer than the middle

We are wondering this too...but the airbags in the doors aren't good for car seats...regardless of anchors...also, trying to figure out logistics of sitting in the back seat with them.  Looking for a bigger SUV that can comfortably seat 3 without getting a 7 passenger SUV....

Yes, that's where I am at now with # 3 on the way. We currently have a 08 Pontiac g6 that my everyday car, & my husband has his truck. Which fits two I  the back. Mine could fit 3 , since my son and daughter are now in booster seats, but it's gonna be a tight fit, we are looking for a van now. Ughg

Agree with Sweetbee3, one on each end, it's so much easier getting them in and out. My two year old is on one side and the baby car seat is set up on the other. Although, when I got my car seats checked for proper fitting the trained specialist said it doesn't actually make any difference safety wise where your car seats are as long as they are compliant with safety standards and correctly fitted. Personally don't like the idea of having a car seat in the middle though! Seems like less protection?!
