I stay at home my husband said he would rather me stay at home were he knows im safe then to be at work and im not high risk
I'm in the same situation. What do you do with your time?
I'm, my husband won't allow me to work he believes a woman should stay home and take care of the house, witch I think is pretty boring since I'm use to working and doing something all the time.
@isaraay did you just stop working when you became pregnant?
My husband works in the oilfields so I at ay at home even before I was pregnant. It gets so boring even tho we have a 6 year old already.
I'm not going to lie, I enjoy it. Lol. Time to myself. But I am finding myself curious as what to do to fill my time?
I've had to leave my job due to working with sheep which can assure abortion in women. I stopped work at 17 week's and had to cut right down to jobs which involved on contact as soon as I was aware. Im seriously struggling to fill my time, living in the middle of no where, hubby works long hours and I'm so used to doing hard physical work! I'll be glad when baby is here so I have something to do!
I was thinking of starting to sew, I see a lot of girls make cute headbands and dresses if you're having a girl. Do u have any children already?
I could totally bust out the sewing machine! Why did I not think of that already. Great idea! & I'm expecting my first child! :)
I started staying home at 30 weeks. It was really my husbands idea but I'm really glad I did because I got all the things done around the house that I needed to. (And I got to catch up on my daytime TV...lol!)
Lol, yesss. I've definitely got into daytime TV shows!
I do but my husband recently joined the military and has been gone for a few months and we have a 5year old already so :p
Yep! I love my Jerry and my Wilkos!
When I got really bored (and when I was still able to do it!) I redecorated my house and I also went through all of our stuff and put a yard sale together. It's AMAZING what you will do when you've got time on your hands!
Idk. I'm thinking once I know if we're having a boy or girl, I could start planning things and getting by hand crafty with diy projects.
I'm choosing to stay home for this pregnancy. I've always wanted to be the homemaker and this is the best chance I'll get. I'm really looking forward to it.
I am a stay at home mom of a 22 month old and 5 year old. I draw portraits so that helps some and husband works.
I decided to stay home, I'm not working. We live in different state from my parents, I came to visit my parents whole 1st trimester. I was so sick morning sickness, & low iron. 2nd trimester I went to visit him & stayed their the whole 2nd trimester until a month ago to come stay with my parents until the baby is born. Now 36 weeks. It's nice to not be working at this time. I used to be supper busy with work & school, didn't have time for myself. Since I stay home, it's just nice to focus on me, sleep, watch shows, walk, & help my parents, it's nice to be back with them. I know I won't have this chance again with my 2nd, so I'm taking advantage to relaxx.
I stay home, have been home since October. My husband and I decided I wouldn't work, he was worried about the winter weather and I worked a little ways out and he didn't want me to get into any accidents or anything. Plus I worked with young kids and it's a stressful job, and he didn't want me stressing throughout my pregnancy. So I'm home, and I really don't do much. Besides cook and clean I spend time with my parents who are recently retired, and I started shopping for baby and getting things in order!
Im gonna stop working at 7 months due to physical work at my job. Im gonna try to last that long. When I stop I will sew its my hobby. Im gonna make the baby everything from burp pads to shoes. Im looking forward to it
