No such thing as a mucus plug

So. Ftm. 32 weeks (or so I thought) Normally this entire pregnancy I've been told I measure a week ahead. Today I was told I'm measuring a week behind. She also informed me that there was no such thing as a mucus plug ?? She didn't seem concerned about me measuring behind so I'm assuming that's natural? Just left me wondering is she accurate with anything I was told today. (She's my new doc, BTW)

No such thing? Uhh yes there is lol I just lost mine yesterday.. and also my baby was about a week behind a few months ago, my midwife wasn't concerned about it she said it's common. But they do monitor your babies growth if she isn't concerned then you shouldn't be either. Don't worry your baby will grow and so will you (:

Some call it "the bloody show"   depending where you live.  I am on my 3rd pregnancy and haven't lost mine randomly ever.  My water broke at home with second. But no mucus plug loss for my pregnancies

When I lost mine my doctor came into my room and said "so the nurse says you've lost your mucus plug. Can you tell me what it looked like" so I told her and she said "sounds like your mucus plug"
