family members butting in!

Im angry/mortified, just absolutely gutted!! My grandparents (god bless them) have taken it upon themselves to buy me a pushchair for my child.

Im just sooo angry, angry at the fact im going to hate myself when i tell them i dont want it, that i already have one picked out! Angry that im going to seem so ungrateful and angry that they think they can impose on me and my boyfriend like this. All without even a phone call to say 'wev just spotted this, its nice and reasonably priced.. What do you think??' urghhhhh!!! Its not a travel system with any decent features and completely unsuitable for a newborn as its pretty much a stroller! Am i being unreasonable?!

I think you are over reacting, as some pregnant women do. They were just being nice and giving to your child. Maybe you can accept it and return it to the store? Even if you dint have a gift skip ,you can get a store credit and get something you want/need.

Just wait to use it when your baby is a little older
just say to them that due to safety ratings on the stroller you love and want your going to use their one when bubs a little older :) solves both problems
