migraines????

Mommies, do any of you also suffer from bad migraines during your pregnancy? I'm 12 weeks today and I've been having this horrible migraine since yesterday and it seems to get worse. Any tips, suggestions??

I have chronic migraine. My migraines increased in severity & was having 5-7 per week from 4wks (didnt know that was why until i found out i was pregnant at 6wks) until I was about 19wks, haven't had 1 for 6wks now! Longest I've gone without for about 18mths! Nothing helped me, just had to try to sleep. Did you suffer from them before pregnancy?

Yes. I took Tylenol but that wasn't helping that much so my OB prescribed me somethin. Try to drink a little caffeine  like a coke that helped mine too. But not all the time just when you have the migraine. The medicine i was prescribed has caffeine in it so thats why i suggested a little soda

I've never had migraines before getting pregnant, but started getting them around 10w or so. My midwife said it's totally normal- your blood volume is increasing and that plus hormones can make them come up. You're not alone!

I had migraines before I got pregnant and they've been bad my whole pregnancy. I'm 28 weeks and have only been able to take Tylenol. Taking a nap or drinking a cup of coffee sometimes helps but my OB basically laughed in my face when I asked what could be done for the daily headaches. :-( if push comes to shove I've taken Fioricet which helps a little more than Tylenol.
