My baby shower is this Saturday as well, it's breakfast buffet! I would go with options 2 and 3. Goodluck, and most importantly have fun! (:
I always thought whoever was throwing your shower took care of food. But anytime I been to one its usually just munchies and finger foods such as a fruit tray , veggie tray and crackers and meat . I'd keep it simple less to clean up and less stress if you are having to do the food part.
My babyshower is this Saturday as well I'm Hispanic and my moms making ceviche... I say you should go with sandwiches chips fruits
French fries can be greasy and get soggy fast
I'd go with option 2 or 3
Good luck
My babyshower was this past saturday
We had simple appetizers then food
Large tray of chicken and tray of rice
We had the food because the shower was so long and going on at dinner time! Appetizers would have been fine for a brunch short shower
At my baby shower we just kept it simple. Ham rolls, chicken salad croissants, mac and cheese, potato salad, develed eggs, and for desert a special cake my brother made that was pink with strawberries in the middle. Which was the girl cake. Since im having a girl. And then a Hawaiian wedding cake my mom makes just cuz i love it lol. I honestly just think simple is better. Less stress. And its still good. Iys your baby shower. Do what you like the best. This is my second child. And second baby shower. My first we ordered subway and kfc to cater. And had so much food left over and it was a waste. I liked my aecond better.
I stressed over the food part for my baby shower the most. I guess it depends on your budget! For me personally finger sandwiches such as tuna or chicken salad with potato chips, fruit, veggies, and salads would be delicious!! But, my mother in law threw my shower with a $4,000 budget and she basically took over. I had three buffets.. a breakfast one that including a parfait bar, fresh fruit, and cinnamon rolls... on my lunch buffet I had two salads, rolls, green beans, baked chicken, filet mignon steaks, and twice baked potatoes.. on my desert bar I had cookies, lemon bars, eclairs, and mini cup cakes. For drinks I had a bartender serving coffee, teas, lemonade, orange juice, pop, and mimosas. It turned out really good but it wasn't the food I wanted lol
