Funerals

My husband's aunt died Monday from lung cancer, because I live so far from my family I'm really close to his. I was completely devasted by the news nd didn't react well so hubby is already skeptical about me going. Then he hered the old wives tail about pregnant women not attending funeral. Has anyone ever been to a funeral while pregnant?

I've hear that too. I dont think that by goingg something may happen to your baby. You just need to be calm and take things easy. Dont get streesed or cry a lot because that can affect the baby.

You can go to the funeral. But it's best not to go to the grave yard. That's what my grandmother and aunts always say.

I'm sorry! My granddaddy passed last month and I had heard about the old wives tale but it's just a myth. I went to the funeral.

I never heard of that until my friend's dad died while she was pregnant. Her mom told her to wear a black dress. I know women who attend funerals while pregnant baby turned out fine.

I think it's just that. Old wives tale
