Lost my facial glow during pregnancy. It has become blakish. :(
I'm having a boy and my neck, armpits and around my Boobs got dark :(
Dont know about the gender . As in india doctors dont disclose the gender :(

It's called melasma or also "pregnancy mask" and is thought to be caused by the elevated levels of estrogen and progesterone in pregnancy. The elevated hormone levels stimulate the melanin in our skin (which gives our skin its pigmentation) and causes dark patches. They get better after baby is born and hormones go back to normal. It's very common in pregnancy.
