I got my flu shot at one of my prenatal appointments but i just came back from the hospital and I have the flu :( I been feeling crazy all day

I was forced to get the flu shot my ob kept making me feel guilty but it didn't make new sick and by baby is fine. My ob wanted to give it to new @ my 20 week appointment but I said no. And then at my 30 week appointment she kept making me feel like I had to get it or I was a bad momma so I gave in and got one my baby is fine and healthy. I am not 35 weeks

I am asking because I have always gotten the flu shot even while pregnant and I work in the healthcare field, so for you to say that if you get the flu shot if you are under 12 weeks pregnant is the first I ever heard. That is why I am asking you do you have anything to back this up?

I've never had a flu shot and never gotten the flu..... And I will never get the flu shot because if you get the flu you can loose your baby if it under 12 weeks. My friend had it happen to her she regretted getting flu shot.

I got all my shots except for the flu shot due to being sock after i got it

Sometimes the flu shot will give you a mild case of the flu but this year they guessed the strain of the flu wrong. It's a lot stronger than they though. So the flu shot won't do anything for this strain of the flu. I didn't get the flu shot and haven't gotten the flu.. I know the second I get the flu shot I'll get the flu and since my immune system is absolutely nothing right now it will end bad for me

There are different flu strains that aren't all covered by the vaccine. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
