Yes it's normal part of the process.  I was feeling the same way too. Rest alot and maybe sleep with the fan on. That helped me.

The shortness of breath is because as your baby grows your lungs have less room to expand. It's normal just slow down and take deeper breaths when you need too!

The posts are so interesting because I went to the ER because I was having a real hard time breathing and also I felt lIke their was a lump in my throat. The doctor told me because I have been vomiting it caused my body dehydration and I need drink a lot of fluids especially Gatorade.  Also, I have developed acid reflex the vomiting has caused my thyroids to be a little off and I will need to take medication, but I haven't yet and just been dealing with the discomfort, but it's really not good for you.

I have shortness of breath a lot but I think I have it mainly because I have asthma because I'm not so big yet, I'm 21 weeks though.

I'm 14 weeks, and I've been having shortness of breath as well. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment, but I'm also curious if anyone else has had this problem. I expected it later in the pregnancy when my baby was bigger and taking up more space and pushing on my diaphragm,  but I didn't expect it this early.
