ultrasounds..

So I've had a pretty stressful pregnancy with work and everything. So far I had a 6 week ultrasound, another at 11 weeks because I was in the hospital alot, then another at 18 weeks for gender and measurements.  I just saw my midwives yesterday and they are ordering me another to make sure she's growing okay (I'm measuring fine) but they want to be sure since I'm no longer working.
Has anyone else had alot? Did everything end up going okay? I just want my little one to be healthy, I don't really know what's normal since this is my first pregnancy.

Alright it's definitely nice knowing I'm mother the only one having a lot. I just want her to be healthy and happy in there. Hopefully everything will be fine :) thanks ladies it eases my mind a bit!

I think the standard is 2 ultrasounds throughout an entire pregnancy. I had 3 cause my doc does one at all her regular gyno check ups and the confirmation visit is treated like a reg check up. A girlfriend of mine had 3 in her 2nd pregnancy (only because her first ended sadly in stillbirth). And another girl I worked with has had an ultrasound at every visit because her weight and body type  made it nearly impossible to measure her uterine or her baby's growth accurately from the outside.
If there was anything of real concern the midwives would tell you. Always ask them if you're uncertain of anything, trust me they've heard all the questions. My guess would be it's probably just an extra measure to be on the safe side since you had a difficult pregnancy thus far.

Once I became pregnant, it seemed like everyone around me were getting a ton of ultrasounds and i quickly became jealous. Now I'm 34 weeks and my OB is concerned my daughter is on the smaller side. So i get them once a week. Personally it's reassuring to me. And i love getting all the pics. You should be fine. This is my first pregnancy as well
