There is no set time for every hour, babies sleep a lot later in pregnancy. You should pick a time of day that you find baby is most active, lay down and count for 2 hours with no distractions (if your worried about a decrease on movement). You can have a drink of cold juice prior to encourage baby to move. You should feel about 6 movements, not kicks, any nudge, roll, ext counts. If you feel nothing in 2 hours I'd call your doctor. If you feel some buy not quite the 6 I would wait a bit and try again, if still the same call your doctor.

I am 39 weeks and she is running out of room in there so her movements aren't as much of "jabs" like they use to be. In fact yesterday I got so worried that I went to the ER cuz I hadn't felt her move for hours.  I wanted to make sure everything was ok. No sooner than i got there i felt her moving.. she's already being a lil pistol lol. I got back to ER right a way and instantly started crying saying "I just felt her kick". I was so relieved and HAPPY!! They put me on a monitor and baby girl is A ok!!

My midwife said to call her if from now on (I'm 30 weeks) the baby moves lewd than 4 times an hour.  But she also said I only need to try counting if I've noticed a decrease in his movements

Im gonna be 28 weeks tomorrow and he moves all day long even in the nights to the point where he wakes me up. But I was always told that as long as your baby is moving everything is good.

I'm 38+6 and my babygirl can sleep 2hours and then move a lot after nap and some days feels like she doesn't sleep at all. So it's different. If you feel your baby move several times a day it should be fine:)
