Heartbroken:(

Today i went to my appt to find out i have 2 sacs but No Baby, heartbeat or anything else. Im suppose to be 8 weeks and doc says hes suppose to at least see a baby or heartbeat. Hes doing blood work now and gonna redo my ultrasound in two weeks. Idk how to feel, wether to have hope or let go. Have any of u ladies ever experienced anything like this and had a good outcome?

I'm so sorry to here that Miss_Juarez in July of this year they told me at the ER that I had a miscarriage bc they didn't see anything in the sac or a heartbeat I was bleeding but not a lot. Well I got sick at work and had to go to the ER in September and to make a long story short they made a mistake in July I didn't have a miscarriage at all. In September I found out I was 16wks and having a boy. Never stop having faith, prayer, if it's meant to be everything will be ok. Me and my husband have been trying for 12 yrs am 38yrs old wt a 20yr old and a baby on the way I wouldn't change it for the world. You and your family are in my prayers.

Miss an OBGYN this could mean that you ovulatr late and you are not as far along as you thought. That is why your OBGYN is having you return in 2 weeks for an additional scan. Do not give up hope....just prepare in case this results in a blighted ovum.

It's called a blighted ovum. The sac can develop but there's no embryo. This happened to my friend she was one day off of 3 months when she noticed some bleeding. She had an epac done which is an emergency ultrasound. They noticed that the sac developed but there was no baby or heartbeat. In her case she passed the sac a few days later in the form of a blood clot. If it was me I wouldn't lose all hope until the docs could give you a definite answer. I miscarried on my second pregnancy I was only 5 weeks at the time it can be difficult and for some people it's much harder then others. Try to get through with the love of your family and friends

My sister recently went through that she had a sac but no baby. I cant quite remeber what it was called , but its when you have a sac and it grows without a baby in it . It happens to like 1 out of 500 women . So they gave her some pills that she was on bedrest for two weeks for just bleeding and waiting for the sac to fall out...

If you are having twins it can take longer to show sometimes. Especially if you aren't actually 8 weeks.

That is odd. Im very sorry you didnt see a baby. I would think that means miscarriage... but I find it odd that your doc didnt tell you that?
