I'm 19 years old and I started dating my baby's father a month before I got pregnant. I have been thru a lot in my life and tend to be a very reserved person . I'm scared to death because now that my son is kicking more and I'm getting bigger I know his family and others are going to want to touch, and since we started dating I feel like I can't say no :/ I honesty get a panic attack when anyone tries to touch me besides him or my doctors. I was told by his mother that i had to let his grandmother touch my belly but I honestly can't. Anytime I think about it I get sick to my stomach. I have ALWAYS hated being touched I hate hugging family besides my mom,dad and siblings. I just don't know if I'm wrong for not wanting anyone touching me

Haha thanks I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm just glad my boyfriend understands an backs me up. Id be screwed if he didn't stand up for me

Ask them if you can touch their bellies. Lol. I don't see why having a baby inside makes it any less weird to touch someone else's belly.

lol I know exactly where you are coming from! my husbands grandpa touched my belly an i'm like ahhh. im 23 weeks an hardly showing tjough, thank goodness. I don't even get why ppl do that. atleast ask first before you touch me lol! I know ppl mean well but it's kinda weird. maybe just find a nice way to say no! they need to understand it's your body an if it makes you uncomfortable they need to understand an respect that. you don't need ppl in your little bit of space you have to your self lol. your the momna, what you say goes

There's nothing wrong with that I honestly hate being touched especially by his family OMGEE I hate it and my bd aunt got mad but its like that's hisfamily and I cclearly dont like being touched its your body you have to go through the changes .  For get them.. well at lease that's HOW my attitude is lol

Some people don't llike it when other touch their belly. Just tel them that you would really rather not. Nothing against them, it just makes you uncomfortable.
