Help!!!!!! In pain but released
I'm in pain every four minutes I have contractions. I was monitored for two hours and the contractions never got closer but the pain did. It hurts soooo much. I was released because I'm only 1cm dialated and the Dr said its still too early but I'm in solo much pain with every contraction!!! All they said is take a Tylenol and if the contractions get real close together or the pain is just unbearable to go in which doesn't make any sense because they're already unbearable and 4 minutes apart :( anybody go through this??

Had my baby at 12:52 am on Dec. 6th. It was worth it! The epidural wore off but I had pain medication. I got an strong urge to push at 9pm at Dec.5th so the nurses let me push but my son's heart would drop dramatically. They just told me to hold the urge I had to hold it for 2 hours!!! Its like holding the strongest urge bowel movement you've ever had. At 12:07 I started pushing! It was exauhsting and the nurse was the worst! I mean of course I'm gonna soil myself don't most women??! She had the audacity to give me a look . She didn't guide me at all or tell me the progress. After what I felt was hours I ask how I was doing and how the baby is looking and she's like well huh you're pushing that's how you're doing. Ugh. Then sometimes I would push and push and then she'll stop me for a couple of the contractions and then not give me the okay to push again until I asked her and she would be like oh OK yea go. I pushed him out basically by my self. My feet were up and curled to my face and finally my cone head was here :) its back to normal now. The after staff was great though and they gave us a lot of goodies to take home.
It happened with my 2nd but they said i was not having contractions because it didnt show up on the monitor an was only dilated to 1cm they sent me home i came back to the hospital a hour later an was fully dilated i was so pissed at them...lol

That was the first time at 11 pm dec 3. They told me to go home with all my pain. At 11 am yesterday Dec.4 I we went to another hospital because I just couldn't. The pain was killing me and I was awake all night. That when the DR said oh how Bad can it be at 1cm. Contractions were still every 4minutes. They set up a sweep on Saturday and an induction Monday. I was crying so much I couldn't handle that much pain for another who knows. I was released once again at 4:30 pm Dec. 4 and the contractions were soooo bad and I just had to bear with them. I struggled so bad with intense contractions until finally I felt tiny leaking. I couldn't handle it so today at 4:30am I came back to the original hospital. I was leaking and I was barely at 2cm 100 effaced and good lord the contractions were sooo intended I was screaming in my mind And biting a towel. The nurse was so nice she gave me some pain medication and lord finally after sooooo many hours in pain with no sleep I got to relax. Currently at 3:41 pm Dec 5th I am 5cm dilated. My water is still leaking so I'm on atibotics and I had my bloody show at around 7am today. I got the epidural I'm so sleepy and I'm progressing to 6cm hopefully soon
Thank you guys I finally got admitted at 4:30am. I couldn't handle the pains anymore I was in tears. Yesterday a doctor at a different hospital said I'm only 1cm it can't be that bad what a jerk! I told him I'm in pain and I know pain I've had a tattoo by my croch and I could handle that and I got a root canal nerve taken out without anesthesia and the contractions I was having were 1000 painful!

How many weeks are you? If you are 40, ask doctor to sweep membrane, do an enema, and walk! Good luck, once you get am epidural, the pain will go away. Just to let you know, make them hook you up to an iv when you get there! I was in so much pain, and they told me i had to wait to get the epidural until the whole bag went inside me......the pain of waiting!
Yeah, as stated above you need to keep going back. For what ever reason, when they put you on the monitor, your contractions weren't registering as contractions, so they sent you home; I'd say go back every 8 hours or so and force them to reasses you until your admitted. Sounds like early labor to me...
It happened with my 1st child aswell only after 12h of pain I finally delivered you should give birth within few hrs
Walking helps speed up contractions.
You keep going back until they keep you. Same thing happened with my youngest son. Good luck to you.
Just go to hospital and say the pain kills you and you can't get anymore and just don't take no for an answer.
When I had my son I was in slow labour for a day and half and the hospital kept palming me off saying I'm not ready, so eventually when my contractions was 4mins about I rung them and told them they was 1 min apart so they would ask me to come in. When I got to the hospital I was 5cm dilated!! Try ringing them again and lay it on thick hopefully you've dilated a bit more since then and u can get some pain relief to ... good luck x
I'd speak to your doctor and asked to be induced they really should of done that when you went into hospital cuz your already dilating I had the same with me and I'm 3cm
Still in sooooo much pains with contractions every 4 minutes and 1cm dilated :'( I don't know what to do its been over 24 hours. These contractions are killing me :( somebody plz tell me I'll go into labor soon
I have no clue what that pain feels like, but I know Tylenol won't work, it barely works when I get headaches. If it were me I would go check in the ER and disturb as many as possible until L&D gave me a bed or something to get rid of the pain.
It does sound confusing especially if your contractions are that close and constant.

Yes I went threw it with my first baby for a month. And when the day came that I was actually ready to have my baby I didn't have a lot of strength due to all the pain I had for the month. Just try and get as much rest. Good luck
