How do most of you experience cravings?

I have been smelling burnt marshmallows all day! Lol. Idk if I'm craving smores or my senses are just out of whack. Do cravings cone on by smell, by thought, by seeing the food....? What are your opinions?

For me I get this weird sensation, almost like a taste in my mouth then my brain had to figure out what the craving is for. It's so hard to explain, my body craves it first and then I have to guess what it is lol the other day it was this Japanese candy I haven't even eaten since I was 10! Took 10 minutes to pinpoint what I wanted lol but it is very distinct and I'll know once I guess it

I crave stuff based on smell, if I get a wiff  of something that smells good it gets me thinking of all the delicious food that smells like that then I want it. I rarely give in to my cravings though but since I got 8 days left I have been giving in more since after the baby I won't have an excuse to pig out and I will be trying to lose the baby weight.
