I am so annoyed! I need to rant.

My Mother is literally mad at me for being with my son's Father.. I love him, he loves me and we want to be with each other forever. Only problem is that him and my Mom do not get along. She's always saying really rude things about him for no reason so obviously he doesn't like her. She told me it's more important for my son to have a grandmother than a Father. She is crazy! She sits on the phone with other family members and cries because apparently I picked my boyfriend over her. I don't talk to her 24/7 and she thinks that it's because of my boyfriend when in all reality I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I'm very busy preparing for my newborn. I can't handle her anymore!

She sounds like my Narcissistic mother. They feed off controlling your life and smear your name if you don't let them.
Facebook has groups for daughters of narcissistic mothers. They are textbook.  You'll know for sure with more info. Best wishes

I agree with the above post. Ground rules  need to be established.  My father in law feels that he can tell us how to raise our children....so if it's not nipped in the bud, the issues get worse.

Try too calm down sweetie. Its natural for your mom to feel that way. But as in disrespecting the father of your child is not it.  Maybe you should talk to her and say that your not choosing side but regardless your gonna be with your baby's dad.  Whether u like it or not. Just be respectful about it.  But try to understand both perspective  .  And on the other hand make sure he's not disrespecting your mother as well
