Hi love. Sorry you are dealing with this during this hard time in your pregnancy. I am a supervisor and I can tell you that at my job the way you were fired would be deemed unacceptable. Why didn't anyone talk to you about your performance??? It seems that you were let go only after telling them you were pregnant which seems fishy. However, if your job is an "employ at will" then they can let you go for no reason at all. If you would like your job back my suggestion would be to contact your human resources department and explain to them what happened. Let them know that you were fired only after revealing you were pregnant. Also look over your handbook and see exactly what the grounds for termination are..that may help. I will say though that maybe this is for the best because if they treat you like this now, imagine when you're 8 months trying to work. It may be better to find a different job where maybe you aren't on you're our feet as much. I know it's easier said than done but it's worth a try. And remember, you are NOT required to tell a potential employer about your pregnancy. Good luck sweetie. Have faith and trust in God.
