Is anyone farther along than the doctors think?

I think i might be at least 16 weeks. The doctors say im 14 weeks based on my last "period" however, before that i had a miscarriage and went a month and a half without bleeding again and i think that "period" may have been spotting. I remember it being very light and lasting only a couple days. Could the doctors be off by a couple of weeks? Im already feeling the baby in my upper pelvic region and i can already see moving. The baby feels about the size of a softball.

Your instincts are probably right. My period is normally every five weeks, so using the lmp has never been accurate for my babies.

What does it matter since a due date whether its based on lmp or ultrasound is purely an estimate? I say why question the doctor. Most doctors have been doing it for quite some time and can have a very good estimate

I have two different due dates! Nobody really knows if I'm 23 weeks or 24 weeks. I personally think I'm more of 28 weeks based on symptoms but who knows! Haha
