Is it hormones? Or am I overdramatic?!!!

Firstly Happy 4th everyone!
Now on to the big dilemma
I am not a vegetarian by any means, I LOVE MEAT!!! hamburgers, hotdogs, you name it I'll eat it, however I do not like to think about the slaughtering process I know it's real I know it has to be done in order for us to consume the food. But I do not like to be in the Frontline doing it. Especially when there are grocery stores packed with animals that have already been slaughtered
So you can understand my point of view on boiling live lobster or crab... I'm totally against it. However my wonderful husband thought it'd be a great idea to have a fisherman buddy go and catch a ton of lobster for him so that he could have a lobster cookout for the fourth. He knows where I stand and how upset I get. So we're literally sitting on the deck going back and forth on our opinions about how I feel and why. I'm in tears, and basically my fourth is ruined. I don't want to even participate in the party we are hosting
Am I being a big baby or what?!!!!

Just dont think of it. Think happy thoughts. Think of your baby. Think of how yummy that lobster is going to taste. Dont go around where they are cooking it. I grew up in south la. Crawfiah boil every year. Never really thought of the dying process. I just like eating them because they are soooooo goood!!! Think of the yummy melted butter on the lobster.
