URG! SO ANGRY! GRAN.

im acctualy feeling pretty hurt and betrayed. i feel like everything i say, gets carried, especially when ive asked it not to. im 36 weeks tommorow, and ive kept my babys name a secret until the birth as that was the only thing id wanted to keep un-announced. well, my nana thought shed take it apoun herself to go tell her 2daughters and 2grandaughters, which REALLY upset me. reason being, my own sisters dont even know. and she had no right to go behind my back and do that. i only realised shed done it 2days ago, and im finding.it hard to confront her as i cant be bortherd with the fighting. im exhausted.

I totally understand! There are certain things about YOUR pregnancy that you hold sacred, whether its the gender, name, or even special requests regarding your labor/delivery. It is for no one else to decide for you. I understand your reason for telling her, but one thing I've learned, if you want something to remain a secret, keep it to yourself. It's been done, so don't beat yourself up about it. However, I would take it as a lesson learned. Pregnancy is such a happy time that we often want to tell everyone about it and share it with all those we love. Problem is, many people feel that it's their business to spread your joy when in all honesty, you want to be the one the spread your joy in your own way! Your baby info was probably some of the most excitement in her life right now and she was having trouble containing it.  I know it has you upset, but you have to accept what happened and decide how you want to move past it. im also so angry because where im from, our stroller is like our 2nd baby and no body is supposed to know what its like etc, WELL SHE ALSO TOOK THEM TO THE SHOP AND SHOWED THEM IT. urgh, im just so angry. i try to involve my nan as much as i can because she wont be here much longer, now im beginning to wonder why i even bother when she sits and says "dont tell pepple this and dont tell people that!" yet shes the one doing it!!! urgh! sorrry im venting
