Just making conversation...

5 MOs. Preg. When I first became pregnant, I wondered if my affection for my dog would wane, in competition w/ my new little one; it hasn't.  I still love my stupid ball loving crack head dog, just as much, if not more than ever.

I have two dogs, my neighbors dog comes over regularly and my parents have four dogs I see weekly. Never heard of an issue with dogs except risk of it jumping on you if it is a big dog. All of the dogs I am around are fully vaccinated and take a flea/worm preventative. My dogs sleep with hubby and me every night and the cuddle with me most of the day.

Dogs cause effections? I would seriously do some looking in to. I have never heard this before. You shouldn't change cat litter and cats carry more than dogs do. Dogs can cure infections with their mouth so this sounds odd. I do know dogs know when you are prego though. Good luck

Mothers have lived aside animals for centuries, I live with dogs, cats, snakes and horses, just wash your hands and keep your home sanitary, people get so worrysome when they are pregnant, never understood that. Animals are the best for children!

Me too I love my dog but one of my mom's friend told me not be near dogs because they cause an infection when your pregnant so it breaks my heart when he wants to lay down next to me
